STREAMIX Player

One core,eight native platforms

STREAMIX Player runs one in-house playback core and engine inside a native app on every platform. Connect it to Emby, Jellyfin or STREAMIX Server: every playback is DirectPlay, and the original picture is restored on your device.

Availability

Get it from the official app stores at launch

When STREAMIX Player launches, it will arrive in the official app store of each platform, where you can install and update it. Release dates will be announced on this site.

Capabilities

What it does

  • Original-quality DirectPlay

The server only streams; decoding, HDR compositing and audio-video sync happen on your device.

  • Own core, proven fallbacks

Our own engine is the main path, with libmpv and ExoPlayer as fallbacks you can switch to in settings.

  • HDR and Dolby Vision

HDR and Dolby Vision follow what the device and OS support, and the app shows the format actually being output.

  • Honest labels

The engine and output format in use are always shown; a downgraded picture is never called the original.

  • Continue watching

Pick up where you left off, and go straight to the next episode of a series.

  • Audio and subtitles

Choose audio tracks and subtitles; subtitle rendering is still being refined.
